Chiropractic:

This therapeutic practice addresses problems with the skeletal structure of the body, primarily in the way the joints and muscles fit together. Every day, you use imperfect posture—to walk, stand, sit, sleep, and exercise. After a while, this faulty posture takes its toll on your body, bringing on soreness, stiffness, pain, and even early arthritis and osteoporosis. Indeed, the very process of ageing can bring about misalignment, since gravity itself causes compression in the joints that builds up over the years. But, with regular chiropractic adjustments, you can, in a sense, get more “mileage” out of your body. Furthermore, a multitude of problems not directly associated with the joints can be successfully resolved with chiropractic. Your backbone houses and protects your spinal cord, the nerve center of your body from which nerves radiate to every organ. When your spine is out of alignment, it puts pressure on your spinal cord, which in turn affects the nerves connecting to a particular set of organs. This chronic pressure can compromise the function of the organs concerned. By restoring the correct spinal alignment, a chiropractic adjustment takes pressure off the spinal cord and allows the nerves and organs to return to normal functioning.
