Most of the modern weight-loss diets typically include in their fine print that the results they advertise occurred in conjunction with ‘proper exercise’. I think it’s safe to say that it is so obvious that if you brought it up in casual conversation, you would hear a chorus of, “Yeah, yeah, yeah” and “I know, I know, I KNOW.” But the sad fact is that even though the importance of exercise is considered an obvious fact, we still have an obesity epidemic in this country in both the adult and children populations that is escalating.
